A romantic, Irish country wedding…

When Jane took a part-time job in a clothes shop selling jeans whilst at University, little did she know that her future husband would walk through the door! When Shane asked for Jane’s number she said he could only contact her if it was in relation to the pair of jeans. And so after 5 years of being together Jane had finished her last exam and Shane took her away to The K Club in Kildare as a surprise to unwind where he proposed with a brown diamond engagement ring!

“The blush/nude tone of the dress was just amazing – so amazing that I organised the whole wedding colour scheme around it. Also, I completely fell in love with the lace – it was so detailed and unique with so many different varieties of lace all used in one dress! Every time I tried it on I just felt amazing, I knew it was the dress when I tried it on and my Granny and sister started crying which hadn’t happened with any other dress.”

“I went for a very natural look with my hair – I never wear my hair up so I didn’t want to feel uncomfortable on my wedding day. I wore my hair down with a romantic wave and one side pinned up with roses”

“The wedding day was perfect from start to finish. Shane and I wanted a really relaxed and fun wedding where everyone enjoyed themselves, having the ceremony and reception all in one estate created such a lovely atmosphere. Having all my sisters and brothers (all 7!) involved in the wedding made it so much more personal, my youngest sister sang two beautiful songs for us in the church.”

How did you find your experience at Browns Bride?  “I had one of the most amazing experiences when picking and buying my dress and the ladies were honestly amazing. My mum sadly passed away a couple of years ago and the ladies who helped me to choose my dress made a very difficult moment one of my nicest memories!”
