The Joy mini dress offers a playful iteration of the Victoria ballgown, from our 2025 Made to Order collection, which itself draws inspiration from the iconic Cloud dress — first seen in the Vivienne Westwood Gold Label Autumn-Winter 2007/08, ‘Wake Up Cave Girl’ show, and later immortalised in 2008 as Carrie Bradshaw’s wedding dress in Sex and the City. The Joy gown features a delicately draped corset with a defined waist, from which a voluminous mini skirt emerges. Crafted using the signature Vivienne Westwood diamond pattern-cutting technique, the skirt is built from diamond-shaped panels and enhanced with precise top-stitching, celebrating both structure and sculptural beauty, with contemporary flair.
